CYTOPILOT® Fluidised Bed Reactor

Cell Culture Reactor Cytopilot® is a fluidised bed reactor for cultivation of any kind of cells, especially animal derived ones. The patented modular design permits high flexibility, therefore various applications can be realised. 
Cytopilot
® provides a controlled, fluidised bed, perfusion environment from laboratory scale to production scale.

Application

The main application areas of the Cytopilot® fluidised bed reactors are the production of recombinant proteins and monoclonal antibodies. Cytopilot®  fluidised bed reactor was developed by IAM, the Institute of Applied Microbiology of the University of Agricultural Sciences in Vienna, Austria, and is designed and manufactured by Vogelbusch.

The laboratory scale reactor Cytopilot® Mini is distributed by Amersham Bioscieneces/GE Healthcare.

The relationship between Amersham/GE, IAM and Vogelbusch ensures comprehensive technical support, advice and service at all levels of a scale-up project, for both system and media.
